Agreed, I bought everything yesterday and will get it done.

I just wait until it's near empty then fill up..... Just like I do with the fuel tank.... Wish I could figure out how much when I hit reserve.

I got married so that quit

I change all 3 holes in the spring when I take it out of storage. I then change all 3 in mid August before my annual Tennessee trip. I buy my Mobil 1 in the winter when it's $9.99 a quart and I always have a few K&N oil filters on hand.

If you do it more than what the manufacture recommends your just wasting money. Does it hurt anything? No. Does it help anything? Only your brain and the oil companies pockets.

I have a 73 F100 with 390 that I havent changed the oil in over 7 years. It leaks enough that I get an oil change roughly every year My plan of not changing oil was in hopes it WOULD break down which would force me to rebuild so I could fix the oil leaks and multiple exhaust manifold leaks. Amazingly that 41 year old truck with 220K still runs strong.

As exciting a time this is, potential owners may soon find themselves perplexed as after taking Full ownership, the third hole becomes welded shut and only accessible again on very special occasions such as your annual taking-ownership-anniversary day or maybe when feeding your ride glass after glass of high octane fuel.

And, I might add, the longer that you have owned your "ride" the fewer opportunities you will have to access the third hole. The often heard phrase "Well, that is just Icky" comes to mind.

I do the same with my 4 wheel vehicles, anything more they mfg recommended service intervals is overkill.

I have 54,000 miles on the bike, and it still runs great.
Same here, no reason to increase contaminants, waste money and resources.

I only service two holes. The third one I use as a chin rest.
