Spark Plugs

Are the E 3 plugs worth a shot?

Looking for power and performance plus better fuel economy.

If this is possible with a spark plug, which ones do you fellow riders recommend?

It's a spark plug, they have been doing the same thing for over 100 years.

Have the gotten better? sure!

Have they become magical? no!

Stock plugs are fine, and a lot cheaper!

isn't that what they all promise ( with fine print, of course)

The stock plugs work fine and will work with the ECM's ion sense function.
aftermarket plugs and wires may not.

more than a few riders have had drivability problems or codes after swapping to magic plugs.

swapping back to stock spec fixes all.

if you are doing plugs, don't forget a smear of anti seize paste on the threads and a smear of dielectric grease on the plug boot

Is there something wrong with the plugs you have in there now?
Don't listen to what you hear on the radio/tv/ads it's all snake oil
The stock ones are fine aren't they. that's my 2 cents

If you choose to install those plugs be warned: Even a slight twist of the throttle is going to have your bike flying down the road like a speeding bullet. Prior to install I would highly reccomened extensive track time.

If any spark plug could make it easier for all of the auto manufacturers who sell in North America to meet mileage and exhaust quality requirements they would be standard from the factory in every new car, even at $10 a piece.

Many posts over the years with trouble using aftermarket spark plugs and few, if any, on the stock factory plugs. I would discourage use of non stock plugs.

Pure BS at it's best. OEM in every HD I've ever owned.
