The GSXR stuff is a little over the top and IMO not needed. Really it is nothing more than a gimmick and basically it is Suzuki's response to the real technology that is powering Yamaha's new R1. The new R1 has real time variable length intakes on each throttle body and "fly-by-wire" throttle control. The "ability" to change maps on the fly sounds interesting but in the real world, the squids are gonna use the map that gives them the most power and they are gonna use it all the time. The map thing may be beneficial on the racetrack but 99% of those bikes will never even drive past a racetrack much less on one. Besides, why would an air cooled pushrod motor need something like that? Hell, half of the riders I see riding Harley's don't even use the front brakes, introducing technology like this would do nothing but further confuse those dudes:D
