Road King light bar
Just replaced the stock light bar for my FLHTK with the light bar from a Road King so I could drop my plate below the lights. The license plate light plugs into the socket where the fender tip run/brake light goes. Can I splice the fender tip light into the brake light wires without causing a problem? Or does someone have a better idea? I rarely ride at night so I left the plate light unplugged for now.

I put a 09 Street Glide fender with a Road King light bar on my FLHTC and I spliced the plate light in to the fender tip plug.

I DIY'd the fender tip, adding brake light function. ( took it apart, added 3 6 led segments)
when i added the RK bar & plate light I married the plate light wires to the tip light plug

Thanks, I used 2 quick splice connectors and connected the plate light to the fender tip wiring. Working fine....
