Default Synthetic Oil In Primary, Trans, Engine?

New to HD, just purchased 03 EFI Electra Glide Ultra classic and wanted to change all fluids, motor, trans and primary. My question is what brand do you use, I have run Moble 1 v-twin 20 w 50 in my previous metric bike and love it but don't want to buy any lessons. Any suggestions would be appreciated. 88 ci with a 5 speed, 10k mileage.

I know I shouldn't reply to this, what the hell I'll start it. AMSOIL in everything.

I am currently using Valvoline SAE50 in the engine as the temps have been in the mid to high 80's and it helps the oil pressure stay up. HD primary oil in the primary and whats in the tranny is unknown I haven't changed it since I bought it 4 months ago but will be soon.

I run Mobil 1 syn 20w50 Vtwin in my motor , also in the primary last change and change both around 3K.

Running Spectro heavy duty gear guard 85w 140 in my trans , my 01 is the same set up as your 03.

Theres guys running various oils in the motor and primary Mobil 1 syn being one of them. You can run ATF in the primary or wet clutch compatible lubes, Mobil 1 syn is a quality product , I'm changing back to a primary specific lube next change but will stick with Mobil 1 syn in the motor.

I prefer to run a trans specific lube as 20w 50 oil isn't really the best choice IMO. Red line shock proof is another good trans lube plus Spectro or Red line is good for 10K

Bottom line pick a quality product correct for the application , change your motor oil every 3K and you should be in good shape.

You want to check your cam chain tensioners in that motor 10K your prolly good but keep an eye on them every 10k or so.

I use Lucas 50wt synthetic in the engine, Lucas 75/140 in the trans, and Lucas primary oil in the trans.
You can run pretty much any 20-50 in the primary.

the reallybasic harley oils for dummies(this would be me) any good motor oil in the motor, anything that says v-twinn for the primary(as vtwinn is code for clutch safe) and any gear lube in the gear box.
