Default Size of Hex Clutch Cover and Oil Pan Bolts

I checked my service manual and found the disassembly section and torque specs, but didn't find the hex bolt sizes.

I need to purchase some ball-end hex wrenches and want to make sure I'm getting the correct sizes. Does anyone know the hex bolt key sizes for the clutch cover and oil pan? Or, point me to a place I can look them up?

Thanks

you talking about the oil drain plug or the actual pan bolts?

They aren't hex head on the clutch cover, they are a T25 torx.

clutch cover on side of transmission is 3/16" allen head

if the drain plug you're referring to, it's 1/4" allen head

The Derby cover is T27.

If you use a T25, you will most likely strip the heads, and then blame the cheap *** torx bolts. LOL

if you're referring to the derby cover, then I'd pull out the TORX and take down to Ace Hardware and get you some good hex/allen heads to replace them.

I was asking about chrome clutch cover where the clutch cable connects and also the larger black transmission cover behind it. All are hex head (Allen) bolts.

The oil pan bolts are the ones that mount the pan itself to the case. Not sure if they are hex or torx. Haven't gotten my head under it yet. I'm trying to seal off a pesky oil leak. I tightened the two bolts that double as part lower transmission cover bolts and head pipe hanger bracket bolts, but I'm still smelling and seeing burning oil smoke from that area. My next step is to tighten all the oil pan bolts.

Sorry for the confusion. I should have been more specific about the location of the bolts. Thanks for the help.
