Default Rough idle with power commander and V&H Big Shot Duals..

First a little back ground. I have a 05 Roadking custom EFI withV&H Bigshot Duals no baffles, SE air filter, stage 1 ECM and a power commander III USB. There is no map that fits that combination perfect. The bike seem to run great a low and high speeds. The problem comes at idle; when cold it dles great but as soon as it warms up the idle becomes very rough. The rear cyclinder either is not firing or there is no fuel going to that cyclinder as soon as ya give it some gas it pops and wants to die (like its loaded up) then runs fine. Here is what I have done so far, removed the plug inspsected and swapped didn't matter. Emailed the current map to Dynojet they are currently taking a look at it. I am going to install a stock bike map and see how it runs with that. Has anyone out there seen a simular problem?? Thanks for your help. Todd

If no correct map is avalible you have little choice except to have it dyno tuned by a Powercomamder tuning center if you want it to run right.

I have the same set up on mine as do you.
I used map #180, the bike now runs great with no popping or back firers

Make sure your 0 throttle position is really set to 0. Mine was running very rough at idle and somehow my 0 throttle positon at idle showed a 5 instead of a 0.

Check it with a laptop at idle. Should say 0 throttle.
Good luck

Make sure your bike is warmed up good before you zero your throttle, otherwise it it will zero it at the 3% cold idle setting.

I would contact Jamie at Fuel Moto and send him your map before zero'ing anything out. I have pretty much the same setup on my 2011 and Ive got 5's in my 0% throttle column up to 2000rpm for decel popping and I dont have any problems like your describing. Let Jamie help you with it even if you didnt buy it from him the dude will hoook you up.
