i use BILT. sure, made in china. but works fine, has lasted, and it performs. also has a lot of removable spots to let the air in when the rain stops

I use a NexGen rain suit. About 80-100 bucks at most biker/leather type shops. Works well. Only issue, which is with any rain suit, is zipping it up high and tight enough to keep water from getting down on to your chest. I hate having to zip that thing up over my neck and face but you do what you gotta do.

I just bought some Nelson Riggs and will review them when the arrive. Bought a cheap set to try as emergency gear and hope to keep them packed.

HD rain gear works great and is well worth the investment. I have HD gear that I bought 5 years ago and used a lot that still works great! I have used less expensive gear and it all worked well for a while but did not last long. If you do not ride much in the rain or stray far from home you can use anything. If you are on a week long trip and it rains every day you want really good gear!

I am another fan of the HD stuff. I am not a big HD brand guy but I had other rain gear and got wet. Not so with the HD gear. well designed, worth the money.

I have a Nelson Rigg AS-3000, I paid around $100 Canadian on sale but I imagine it is quite a bit cheaper in the US.

It kept me warm and dry through a week of rain on my trip through the Rocky Mountains last fall. I though maybe it may not stand up well since it was cheaper than most, but it shows no signs of wear and tear through some pretty tough conditions.

My brother and I just finished up a Yellowstone ride, I wanted a rain jacket/pants that would keep me dry but also didn't want to spend big money, I ended up getting Frogg Toggs Ended up buying black pants and the safety green jacket as that's all the store had. It worked great the whole 15 minutes it rained on our 2 week trip, lol.
