Default Roadside assistance recommendation please

Its time to renew my HOG membership. I have only kept this for the roadside assistance but understand this basic $45 is limited for towing benefit. I have never used any other parts of the HOG package and couldn't care less about the magazine. My insurance co (USAA) does not offer roadside assist for MC's and I am not switching insurance co's. Is there a co people use for just towing insurance on mc's that offers more coverage for same or lower price?? Thanks, Phil.

the hog +$20 upgrade is unlimited mileage, unlimited occurance to nearest dealer in USA and Canada

that works for me.

I have lifetime hog which cost me about $65 25 years ago.

AZ AAA won't cover bikes

Check out AMA. It will cover jump starts, gas, lockouts, tow, etc. for all your vehicles for around $45 a year. I have used it about four times and am very pleased with it.

I believe HOG only pays for ONE tow a year. You have to add Road-America for another 19.95 for more tows/ flat tires/ jump starts and gas. If you want to you can upgrade for more coverage.

I have used them a few times without any problems.

All your vehicles includes registered to you, your spouse or dependent children at home or college. Motorhomes and trailers included. That's pretty cool.

I have the road america and AAA Premiere, just yesterday my bike died 75 miles from home (knock on wood, first time this has happened to me). I had a choice, but I knew RA would only be to the closest dealer and AAA will go 100 miles which in this case was home. Had AAA scheduled to come and flat bed it within a 1 hour wait. I did some more troubleshooting while waiting and got it running, just as they called to verify the pick up, which I cancelled.
I guess point is if you need it towed to a dealer the RA is good, which works for me if I am too far from a place to get home, or if your a local rider the 100 mile tow to anywhere you want the AAA may be better. Its $100 a year I think but it covers all vehicles in your household.

Standard AAA only covers 5 miles towing. You need a premium membership for better towing.

Last time I used AMA tow, they sent the best Towing company in my area. The AAA company was one I never heard of. And AMA lobbys for pro motorcycle laws.
