Klock Werks black 8.5 or 6.5 Inch Flare Windshield
hi ,i was looking at these ,or the 6.5 inch ,stock one is not high enough,i am 6`2" and like to slouch back, anyone at this height have any thoughts on this,i don`t see enough bikes to try them out, thanks for the help
I have the 8.5" KW and I'm 6' with stock street glide seat. It's the best windshield I've used as far as buffeting goes. I've had it a little over a month and during the day it's fine but at night I'm finding it just a tad to tall. I see over it but it's at that height where I find it annoying me. I had the 7" LRS and think I'm going back to it just because the extra 1.5" lower lets me see more road at night. I plan on ordering either the Sundowner or another larger seat for longer trips and will use the 8.5" KW with the taller seat.
As others have stated, I would go with the 8.5. I'm 6' with the 8.5 and sometimes when it's really windy it feels like it isn't even there. I couldn't even imagine how the 6.5 would be. The 6.5 does look much better on the bike. I can easily see over the windshield, by a lot, so you should have no problems even slouching.
I am 6ft. Taller upper body. I went with the 8.5 and could use another couple inches even. A guy I ride with is a bit taller and he went with 8.5 as well
I have a 8.5 and I see over it clearly.I am 6 feet and wouldnt want it any shorter. I notice a slight change in buffeting when I change from street glide seat to the stock seat that makes me sit a little taller.
