The OP said, "...also want comfort". I've got a Corbin "Classic Solo" on my 2002 RKC. I would describe this seat as being almost rock-hard. But oddly, I find that to be extremely comfortable.
When you spend all day, or all week, in the saddle, sometimes a seat that is softly padded, can turn out to be one that is less comfortable. After awhile, you kind of bottom-out through all the padding. Or else maybe they have quilted patterns or decorative buttons on them, which eventually start to make an impression on your backside, so to speak.
Anyway, my point is, that I find the Classic Solo to be very comfortable... but it is definitely NOT a soft, cushy seat. Good luck on your quest!
