I didn't know they were that much wow, also figured they were vin restricted like most CVO parts, guy on the Street glide forum posted mine so I grabbed them quick. I've a scanner so I had no issues with the vin error.

I asked about VIN locked Speedo. Was told I was wrong..... So I have to invest in a tool to fix a used gauge?
No, but the Speedometer after a hundred miles must have the VIN set in the cluster or it will give you a vin error. Lot of the 6.5 Radios are that way too.
Lots of shops will flash the bike though so its not a big deal.
Well it looks like they cost like 450$ For the 18 cvo gauges. Where did they get a 1000.
But it appears that there are 2 versions. One is the same as the 17. Then there are the newer type.
