Default 08 Ultra Noisy Starter Resolved

Over a year of listening to this starter now and then sounding like its coming apart, the issue is finally resolved.

Some of you may remember that I took this in to my local about 4 months ago, and got the old "its normal, probrably the PCIII" routine.

Anyway, ended up taking the bike to Victoria HD

Parts replaced

31633-07 Clutch Starter Sub Assy
37813-06A Clutch Assy
Plus gaskets O'rings etc.

About 20 starts in varying conditions and no noise since the repair. I think its fixed!!!

46000 miles and 2 weeks short of its 2nd birthday

I had mine replaced on my 07 as well, my dealer warrantied it.
Here is a tip for you. At start up do not wait for the engine light to go out, hit the start switch immediately after the run/stop switch. It will start better with no kickback or delayed start.
