this is the exhaust heat shield that covers the ugly part of your header where it crosses under the cam cover. it makes for a big difference in the way a touring bike looks if you're using the stock headers. it fits according to the parts and accessories catalog, from 00 to 08 touring. i had it on my streetglide for about three months and then changed out to a vance & hines 2 into 1 pro pipe, so i have no use for it. it's in great shape, no nicks, scratches, or anything like that. retail is $99.62 in harleys catalog. yours for $50 shipped in continental usa. it's as new, but will not fit the 09 and newer as the exhaust was changed in 09. it sure gets rid of that ugly section of bare pipe near your right foot.
