2011 Ultra adjustable backrest take off
Hi all - I have an adjustable backrest for sale. It includes the mounting mechanism and pad. The only thing it does not come with are the two back screws which go through the fender. They are an easy hardware store replacement, but I didn't want to pull them off the bike because they fill the holes in the fender. Other than the screws it's a complete backrest ready to install. My price is $225 plus shipping. New they are $300 plus and you won't be able to distinguish this one from new.

That's why I'm selling. I'm tall and had to put a Mustang Supertouring on my bike. I really hated to give up that adjustable backrest. They are, imo, the best backrest on the market for any bike. But, I need the leg room. |

It was on the bike when I got it. However, to install, it requires removal of the seat, left bag, and side cover - about 2 minutes to do that. It has one bolt at the front which goes through an existing hole, and two bolts on the back which go through the fender. I do not know if the holes are already in the fender, but knowing MoCo, my guess is they are. But, take off your seat to verify. Other than that you route the cable in front of the left side cover and attach the adjustment lever to the frame using one of the screws that hold the heat deflector on. A buddy did his in less than 30 minutes which sounds very doable. |
