Close up of the seat where the stud is missing. I believe Mustang sells these studs individually but I did not look into that.

Adding a picture of the underside, I apologize for the glare. This part of the underside is where the space is between the rider seat and the passenger seat and it looks like it was designed to have a rider's backrest fit up through this section.

I have had multiple questions on the seat in regards to what it will fit. Technically it's supposed to only fit a road king custom BUT it seems it will fit other touring models from 2004 - 2007 years (maybe older as well?) The problem seems to be the dash panel on the road king custom is longer and extends an extra inch, thus making the seat nose shorter? I think this seat would fit a street glide or road king classic but there would be a gap from the nose of the seat to the dash panel unless you bend the tab of the seat to lift it a little.

This post seems to talk about the fitment to some degree:

SO I believe this will fit other touring models but it wouldnt be a perfect fit. Can someone with experience on a road king custom comment on the fitment of seats to other touring models?
