Ive been riding for about two years, and just bought a 2004 HD sportster 1200. After taking it out for about an hour and a half I spotted oil dripping from around the shaft that connects to the gear select linkage. Forgive my non-technical speak, im in no way a professional mechanic. I've read that if the tranny builds up too much pressure it could cause oil to blow out from weird places. I really dont want to take it into HD if its only an o-ring or something that I can replace. Any help would be appreciated.
