Default Fender protection

Has anyone used Dura Line or an undercoating type of product on their fenders to protect them? I am aware of the spray, cover and film but I was just wondering about the other stuff.
Can someone comment? Thank you.

I would hate the look of that, but to each their own.

I'm making an appointment to have the Xpel film put on the trike...Monday I hope
Ours had the fender bras on it when we bought the TG, I don't like the looks of those either, hides the paint.

We have the clear film and it works fantastic. You have a hard time seeing it even if your looking for it.

Somehow this seems a little silly to me. It reminds me of the days when you buy a new car and proceed to buy protective seat covers. The only person that ever benefitted from this is the second owner that removed the covers and had brand new looking seats!

[DISCLAIMER: I use to cover my car seats <grin>]

The fenders on my Trike seem to be pretty durable. They look great and I'm not going to get all **** about 'protecting' them. If they pick up a few dings . . . so be it.

I've seen it on a Goldwing conversion at a few bike nights. Looks good to me from a distance, up close, I don't like it so much. Mary says it's ugly. lol

I use the 3M film, not only for trade-in value, but also because the fenders and side covers tend to get scraped by the passenger mounting and dismounting. The film protects it from that, as well as road debris.

It also is probably good for me since I don't spend too much time washing (subtracts from riding time) and that way the bugs and such come off easier and are not damaging the paint by sitting on there so long between washing.

I run the fender bras and have the rubber heel protectors on.
