Anyone Tried This? Sirius/XM App
#12
I use an Xm Express portable. I can put it in the truck, on the bike, and on the boat. I used that app when I had an unlimited data plan. A 5 hr trip to East Tx. I would lose service for about an hr total. I didn't like that at all. The thing I like most is using it on the boat. Good luck

Update, I tried it and it works great via Bluetooth. The one thing I don't like is not being able to change channels without going to the phone. Haven't played with it much but plan to give it a more thorough test this weekend, weather permitting.
Even if I don't use it much on the bike, still worth it to me as I can use it when in my shop or when traveling for work.

XM Radio
I have been using Pandora and XM for quite a while. I have Pandora on my IPhone so it works great in my Electric Leaf and Honda CRV. But when I go to the mountains in Colorado (frontrange North of Denver) I lose the Cell phone access. So I have the XM module in my Tri-Glide. Once in awhile I lose the signal up in the mountains when I am on the North side of a hill, but otherwise I get good reception.

I use Sirius and Pandora through my phone on my 2014 tri-glide. I also use an internet radio app to listen to "Martini in the morning.com." (American Songbook station out of SoCal.) The only problem is that the USB cable in the entertainment system will not keep the phone sufficiently charged over time. But it can work. I also carry a charging cord that plugs into the 12v outlet on the fairing.
