Khrome Werks 300517A or 300519

I had the Khrome Werks 2+2 narrow bars put on my trike Friday and there was no need for any cables or extensions. They are extremely comfortable and exactly what I was looking for. My trike is a 2014. Fearless is also correct the only difference between the two styles is the pullback and angle of the grips. The wider bars grips are more straight, but the pullback of the narrows can be more depending on how they are installed. This is according to Khrome Werks personnel. You should also be advised that the height of the bars is also affected by the newer fairing of the 2014-2015. These newer fairings do not allow the bars to be installed with as much height as the pre 2014 trikes.
I wonder what they changed that affects the bar height? And I wonder how much of the height it changes? Now I am worried I will be spending that much money and not get what I had on my last trike.

The fairing thing was mentioned to me by the Indy who installed my bars and I didn't ask about the difference. I didn't mean to confuse you about the difference in the bars. The main difference in the 517's versus the 519's is the 517's are 3 inches wider than the oem bars. The grip angle on the 517's is less too. The 519's (narrow) that I got are only 1/2 inch wider than the oems. The photos of fearless's bars look like they are situated a little higher than my narrows, but mine are plenty high enough. They are very comfortable as far as height and pullback. No more reaching forward and down for the grips. I am able to sit more upright with my hands above my elbows and my arms comfortably bent. Everyone's ergonomics is different when they ride, but for a possible comparison I am 5'11" tall and my arm length is 32". I think whichever bar you get, you will be pleased with the difference. You might want to give Khrome Werks a call and tell them your concerns. They will give you all the information you will need to make the right decision for you.

Kodiak I am not confused about the differences between the 2 bars. I had the narrows on my 13 and thought they were just what I needed.
It was this statement that made me concerned I wouldn't be getting the same height and pullback on the new trike with the narrow bars.
" You should also be advised that the height of the bars is also affected by the newer fairing of the 2014-2015. These newer fairings do not allow the bars to be installed with as much height as the pre 2014 trikes. "

Kind of an older post but VERY important to me. Looks like the Khrome Werks 2+2 are the bars I'm going to need for the '16 Tri. I do NOT want to have to change the brake or clutch hyd lines. I'm figuring wire extensions may be needed but that's it. Looks like they are set up for external wiring which isn't an issue. I'd like to add heated grips too. Can anyone confirm that.?? TIA

519s. I added 4" extensions to the control wires just to make it easier to rout them, even though I left them external. Wish I'd have gotten the 6" extensions for two bucks more. The hole in the bars for those wires isn't big enough, and I didn't know how to undo the connector a the time and didn't feel like drilling out the hole bigger. Besides, it was nice out, and . . .
I probably could have ran the heated grip wire directly as-is, but I soldered in a 6" length on the power lead just to make it easier.
