Default Khrome Werks 300517A or 300519

Guys and Girls, anyone installed either the 300517A or 300519 bars from Khrome Werks on a '14 or up TG?

I put the Harley Reach bars on mine when I bought it. A year of riding and they have just never felt comfortable so change is near. I had the KW 2+2 sweepers on my Ultra and loved them, that's why I'm looking at these two numbers.

My main question is on the clutch and brake lines. Will they need to be changed?

I know wiring must be modified and that's not an issue. Neither are the lines but I would like to know beforehand so I can get all the parts before ripping the fairing apart.

Another fitment question, KW lists the 300517A as proper fit for '08 thru '15. However, in looking at the different vendors, J&P, Dennis Kirk, etc. They only list a 300517 part number without the A and say these will only fit up to a '13 model. Comments? Knowledge?

One last question, for those who have experience, do you prefer the 517A Wide bar or the 519 Narrow bar?

TIA!

Thanks guys, I was going to call KW yesterday but didn't have time. Geez, I hate it when work gets in the way of something I want to do!

Now to determine if I need longer brake and clutch lines..... May just have to do some hardcore (and accurate) measuring....

I had the h-d reduced installed on my 14 when I first bought it last year. When they installed them all I needed was the wire extension. I have since installed the 519's this last spring & I needed nothing since I already had the wire extension. The clutch & brake hose did not need to be replaced. For me these are much more comfortable then the reduced reach from H-D.

Khrome werks web site gives all info needed. I believe it is the angle of the grips and pull back distance I could be wrong though. ride safely fearless

15 trike is waiting for 2+2's to be installed. I was told I would need longer cables but they would only be longer from the junction and not from the engine which would be less money.

Default No cables needed for narrow Khrome Werks on 2014

I had the Khrome Werks 2+2 narrow bars put on my trike Friday and there was no need for any cables or extensions. They are extremely comfortable and exactly what I was looking for. My trike is a 2014. Fearless is also correct the only difference between the two styles is the pullback and angle of the grips. The wider bars grips are more straight, but the pullback of the narrows can be more depending on how they are installed. This is according to Khrome Werks personnel. You should also be advised that the height of the bars is also affected by the newer fairing of the 2014-2015. These newer fairings do not allow the bars to be installed with as much height as the pre 2014 trikes.
