Default front master cylinder level

The new bars have a angle that places the front master brake cylinder on a back tilt. The fluid is level with the rear edge of the reservoir but barely covers the sight glass.
I just put on new front pads. Should I remove the master cylinder, hold it in a level position, and add more fluid to compensate for the pad wear. Doing this will place the fluid level above the seal when reinstalled. Or should I leave it and keep checking the fluid as the pads wear. I think I know the answer but your views will be appreciated.

Personally, I would leave it as is. Having the fluid level above the gasket is just asking for a leak IMO.
