This is me on the "Dragon" a few years riding my '13 CVO Ultra.
I've also done it in my SSR but have not taken the Tri-Glide that far south.....yet!
However, IF and WHEN I do, keeping up with anyone is the last thing on my mind

During the trip i the Ultra, my buddy was following closely behind me and we had one of those "switchback" turns to the left and a Miata coming towards us had more that his share of the road and forced my buddy to the berm of the road and darn near into the ditch!
He ran over a medium sized tree branch and once we returned to the motel that evening I noticed a few drops of oil under his bike and sure as h**l the tree branch had punctured his oil cooler!
