Default Changing Exhast on Freewheeler

Has anyone been able to change your pipes on a Freewheeler without removing the body? Can't seem to get at the rear mount.
Thanks

Yes, it is tight, very tight, but it can be done. We've done it quite a few time.

For removal, remove the rear bolt first, then the front. For install, do the front bolt first, then the rear.

Leave the clamp at the header/slip-on juncture loose for both removal and install.

Thanks! Can you tell me what tool are you using to remove the rear bolts?

Cheers

We use an open end wrench.

I took a grinder to an open end wrench. It is about 1/2 its original thickness. HINT, when re assembling, turn the rubber isolator upside down and do the same with the bar. Now the bolt won't be sitting in a valley, but on top. Much easier to bolt it in.
