We road about 200 miles some back roads and highways up to 80 miles per hour and they stayed on good I'll keep everyone updated as the weather gets hotter

Drill a hole and mount them...be brave.. it's ABS plastic not steel

I would never drill a hole, it's preference.

We went on a 400 mile trip on Sunday got rained on once and they stayed on so far so good

3 years, 12,000 miles and numerous day-long trips in driving rain with the 3M adhesive tape holding a couple of things under my fenders and no hint of loosening yet. That's what the velcro should be held on with or similar. Surface prep is important, and there are few things it sticks to better than ABS.

We have put on over 5000 miles temperatures over a 100 and as low as 37 on top of pikes peak and several rain storms and they are still holding on thanks captain itch

I know some people will never do it but I drilled holes to mount the HD saddlebags (5 per side) and I drilled holes to mount the HD mudflaps (2 per side). To each his own.
