Default Another PTT Question

I have a 2017 Tri Glide Ultra.
All stock except for slip on Screaming Eagle Mufflers.
No CB. No other add-ons.
Purchased Full Helmet Headset 77117-10 for Rider.
Purchased Half Helmet Headset 76000730 for Passenger.
Since trike is stock no PTT for Rider. However, Passenger has PTT button and it works.
Would like to use PTT for Intercom since wind, speed and muffler noise will all affect the VOX differently between the two headsets.
If I was to change Switch Packs on right Handlebar to 71500130B (which has PTT button for Rider)
Is this all I need to do to get PTT Intercom to work for both Rider and Passenger?
Any dealer reflash or other parts needed?

I have a '14 Ultra; unless they have changed the functions on the newer bikes, PTT on my Ultra is only applicable to CB operation. My intercom is solely VOX. In addition, you'd be surprised how compatible the VOX setting [after some tweaking] is between rider and passenger. Keep this in mind, your passenger is generally in your wind shadow. Thus, speed/wind has less impact on them. I wear anything from a FF to a half helmet. My wife wears a 3/4 with a full face shield. I will occasionally need to ask her to raise her mic because it has drifted below the shield and causes the intercom to incessantly kick in and out, but this is rare and only during highway riding. Again, no PTT with the intercom.

thanks for your reply and suggestions
however, confusing me is this from the manual
"PTT: See Figure 6. Press the PTT switch to transmit over CB
or intercom. Both the rider and passenger microphones are
live. Intercom can also be operated by voice activation (VOX)"

I have a 2016 TG. Had the same issue with trying to use VOX. Wanted the CB anyway, so I had it installed. The intercom PTT works with or without the CB being turned on. Makes talking with the wife much easier. If you ca get it to work by just switching out the Switch Pack more power to you. I like the CB for riding with my riding group. We all have one and it makes for a great ride together.

That's very interesting. I'll have to try that once I get home tonight. Frankly, even if PTT worked for the intercom, I believe I would stick with VOX 99% of the time. But if it does work, I'd like the option to switch if conditions warranted.
