Picture of Triglide rear end frame?
Anyone have a picture of the rear "frame" of a 2013 Triglide without the trunk and fiberglass installed? Maybe a cutaway drawing? I am mostly looking to see how and where the panhard is installed and connected. I installed a DK Customs lift kit a while back and did not adjust the panhard at all. Should it have been adjusted to compensate for the added height?

As Doug said, the Panhard does not need to be adjusted when installing a Lift Kit.
With or without a Lift Kit the panhard heim joints will wear out with enough riding. Mine did after our Alaska Trip. At the time HD replaced the entire panhard under warranty, there was no rod ends available for warranty replacement at the time. Not sure about now.

I am curious to know that as well. Nothing mentioned in the maintenance manual about wear only how to adjust. I know that I can rotate my panhard rod a bit but to me that is normal for a Heim joint - not like a ball joint where if it rotates in the socket, it's time to change.
Maybe Kevin will chime in as he had to have his replaced...
Cheers

When we got back from Alaska there was a little clunking feel when turning...couldn't hear it so much as feel it. Could also feel it when standing beside the trike and pushing it side to side.
Did not know what it was until getting under the trike and grabbing the panhard and wiggling it. The actual heim joints were worn and had play in them. (rotating is fine, they are supposed to do that, but they should not be loose and click or clunk)
HD replaced it under warranty.

That rod is solid, except in the helm joints in each end? How can it not need a minor adjustment after a lift? Has anyone measured or investigated the pull of that rod to the left side of the trike?
Seems to me if you raise the trike without adjusting the axle back to center, it would be offset to the left a little.

If you find some rod-end play in your pan-hard bar, order just the rod-ends and not the whole bar assembly from HD. The rod ends they use are junk and they want big $$ for the whole assy. You can get some Teflon / Kevlar lined rod-ends for about $12 each.
