Question Trunk Opening

Has anyone had an issue with their trunk opening while riding? At first I thought it was just me not securing it properly, but had it open last ride even after I check to make sure it was seemly secure.

Very common problem....Everyone has their own fix, Mine was to very carefully adjust the spade so the locking mechanism falls into the groove [Think Guillotine] on the spade, If the spade is too short the locking mechanism won't fall in the groove, If too long it will hit the stop and then not fully drop in... Haven't popped open since 2011....

Just adjust it...a little at a time.

Close it slow, don't slam it. Then lock it.

Adjust the latching mechanism, lube it (the button will start releasing slow) and don't slam the door (the trunk is air tight and will bounce back) - push it closed 'till you feel the latch engage.
