I've been all over the place in the last year with my pressures. Currently I have about 25psi in my rear tires and my air shocks are set between 42 and 44. My local roads are almost 100% bump free and these numbers work pretty good for riding single or 2-up.
Heading out for summer travels and may make some adjustments along the way depending on what state I am in. Bottom line is a TG with OEM suspension is a rough ride compared to almost anything on 2 wheels.

Myself? I got sick and tired of trying to find the "sweet spot" with shock/tire pressure so my bride wouldn't get jarred around so much. I finally replaced the OEM shocks with a set of Progressive 444s and Momma is very happy!! I know there are better shocks out there for the TG but these fit my budget and the results were very good.
Good luck with your search for the ideal shock pressure...
Cheers

You can also get some real shocks, they can make a HUGE improvement in the ride.
Here is a REPORT on our testing of Rear Shocks.
Here is a REPORT on our testing of Front Suspension. Front suspension makes more of a difference in how smooth the Trikes feels AT the seat than most folks realize.
Quote from someone riding my Tri-Glide...
"I also rode Kevin's bike @ Kerrville as well. I was skeptical that the ride would be any different. I can second Robert's analysis. The ride was a absolutely different, approaching the ride and comfort ability of IRS. I was surprised."
