Mileage Per Year
I know there have been many posts about this already, but I'm just curious. About how many miles are you putting on your TG a year? I would like to see where I compare. I have a 2016 TG bought last July and before my Sturgis trip starts in 8 days I will have 8,000 miles on it the first year. If I hadn't bought some cold weather gear (Heated jacket, heated pants, heated gloves and heated grips) I would probably only have half of that. I live in Kansas City, MO and I did a ride to Florida in March. It was below 30 when I left here. How about the rest of you?

My 2016 Tri Glide will be 1 year old on the last day of August and I fully anticipate having 15,000 miles on it. We have 13,000 now and we leave on vacation next month. We will be riding every day for 2 weeks from South Florida to Maggie Valley, then to Virginia Beach, then to Nashville, then back to South Florida. That will be at least 2,000 miles.

'14 Tri Glide bought that February, riding about 7.5 to 8K a year, except last year the wife had a little issue so we didn't ride much. It should be about 7K this year, too. We try to take one big trip, 3K to 5K, every year. It's been from here on the north coast (Lake Erie in Ohio) to the west and Gulf coasts, and it's going to the right coast (ME) next month. I semi-retired and work from home a lot, so a lot of short trip miles sure aren't accumulating like they used to.

20-25k a year on the Tri-Glide.
If I ever stop riding the Sporty & Softail, the TG miles will jump to 35-40k a year.
