Extended Warranty

Extended Warranty
For those wondering about the extended warranty, I just had my shorted stator & regulator replaced in my 12ym TriGlide.
Without the extended warranty it would have been almost $1000 repair. Just cost $50 . Sure there is the cost of the warranty, but in one repair it ate almost half the cost up.

Did research before purchasing our 2013 TG new. I bought the Extended Warranty based on reviews of what some HD owners had experienced. Also coming from yrs of trouble free Gold Wings ownership to owning my first HD, I bought the HD plan. Knock on wood I haven't had too use, but I have felt more comfortable knowing I have it.

Hey guys. Have used the extended warranty on my'13 several times now even though it only has 16k miles on it. First was the reverse motor and more recently used the warranty on a defective panhard bar and both rear axles and associated bearings. BTW, put the trike in the shop for the bad panhard bar and the tech discovered the axles and bearings needed replacing also. I HAD TO PAY for the panhard bar to the tune of about 300 bucks. The warranty people said that consequential defective parts are not covered. Does that suck or what???

For some reason Harley wants to replace the whole bar.
