I am looking to buy a 2011, 2012, 2013 Tri Glide, What is the best year and what issues should I be aware of? Thanks

I don't think there are any differences between those 3 years...so it will come down to which one is in the best shape/price value for the year and miles.

09-10 were the same (geared differently than 11-13 & other small differences)

14-16 were the same (very different than previous years)

17's were significantly different, and we'll know next week if the 18's are the same as the 17's.

Almost all of them, regardless of year, have heat challenges. You can read more about that HERE. Any used one I was considering purchasing, I would have a leak-down test done on it prior to purchase to make sure it had not been subjected to excessive heat.

Happy shopping!

I bought a completely refurbished reverse motor for $475 with no core. All parts inside were replaced and the whole body repainted in black. Works perfectly.
One would be completely foolish to pay HD $1500 for a new one.

I like the 2012 best because I own one!
Bought new never had a problem with reverse,
They make a repair kit you could purchase and
have it repaired.

Get the best you can afford, mileage is a factor, accessories, color etc...
i had a 10 and would avoid them due to the gearing...

I bought a used 12 after looking at all the different years, the only one I would avoid is the 09-10 because of gearing.

I have a 2013. No problem whatsoever except the reverse which needed to be replaced but the previous owner informed me of the problem and he lowered the price to cover the replacement.
