If you're dissatisfied with the organizers, nothing says it's mandatory to register. Regardless, all of us would still like to meet & ride with you, there.

 

Clint, I hope you and your group have a great time and come away already paid and signed up for the next year. I'm just giving my opinion of what 3 of us that attended last year thought of it. I suspect any organized ride with 50 or more strangers on different bikes and strikingly different experience levels being led down new roads will always make for a miserable riding experience, but that's just me.

We already have plans to visit the Black Hills for an extended stay in 2019 and do all the rides again.

 

The biggest issue the rally is up against vendor wise is that it is held just a month before Sturgis. All the majors attend that one. The cost for a vendor to travel to, set up, do installs as Kuryakyn does, etc isn't cheap. The trike rally is a niche group.`As such, there is very little incentive for the big players to make two costly trips to the Black Hills. Just my .02

 

I'm sure you're right,Mikey, but I would rather save a ton of money in lodging fees and experience uncrowded roads, than see more vendors in Deadwood.
Can't have it all, I guess.

 

I concur 100% Clint. My reply was in response to the poster lamenting the lack of vendors.

 

Bringing this back to the top so it stays fresh on our minds. I belong to a number of Harley trike groups on facebook, as well as on this site. Can't post on Trike Talk anymore so hopefully some of you members there can help keep spreading the word about the event.

My wife and I still have lodging reserved and are planning to attend.
