Welcome... If you haven't already, I suggest a rear bumper... and check out DK Custom Products for other suggestions.

Welcome to the "three" world! Stick your arms out straight on each side when you are in the seat, that is about how wide the back end is. Keep this in mind around gas pumps and curbs. Enjoy!

I have never ridden a conversion to compare, but I will say the straight axel on my Tri Glide can be rough on poor roads. I have installed the DK trike shock kit but have not had a chance to ride it yet. I did send you a pm.

In your case, I would probably go with trading for a new TriGlide with the new M8 engine. Kevin @ DK Custom can sell you the rear shocks that will really work well, very close to an independent's ride quality.
Hannigan converted our 2011 Street Glide and it handles great, with the ride quality to match.

Welcome to the world of three wheels.

Go to your local dealer and find the T-Shirt that says "Wild On Three". You will soon find out just how much fun it is.

Same, here. I started riding bikes, in 1965. Bought our first trike in March 2008, a 2006 Boss Hoss. Now, we're riding our Street Glide conversion. The majority of bike riders think trikes are somehow a step down, only useful for old and handicapped riders. Actually, trike riding is a lateral step and just as fun. Trikes are also better touring platforms, IMO, and much better at pulling trailers, too.
