Default Seat screw

Any suggestions on how to improve the stock seat screw that holds the seat in place. Taking that thing off and on is a drag.

I switched over to a hex head screw and a magnetic 3/8 nut driver from ace hardware. Take the screw with you to get the right threads and length.

Cut a thick piece of plastic (milk jug or similar) about the size of a quarter, cut a small X in it, and press it over the screw under the seat tongue. Instant captive screw that won't fall off into the most inaccessible place possible any more.

Stopped using a seat screw years ago.......them things always fall to where I can't find when undoing it........seat sits snug between speaker pods......never had a problem.

i went and bought a hand turn screw (dont know the official name of it) off amazon. Looks great, stays in place and is handy when i want to swap out the single seat with the 2up seat. Can literally have the seat off in seconds with no tools.

I open the tour pak and it gives me just enough space to reach the screw easily.

I even had one of the service guys mention what a great idea it was.
