YES J&S made it all good. They had issues with suppliers and I believe it is all squared away. Customer service did respond via email pretty timely.

Update... My bottle jack is leaking oil at the shut off valve. I gave up and called J&S and they are sending me a new bottle jack. I hope its of better quality than the one I got. They were super easy to deal with though and made it easy.

NEWEST UPDATE!! Tried installing the new bottle jack a few moments ago. IT WONT WORK! Either the cup is welded ins wrong position or the base plate is welded wrong
In the picture the bottle jack is as far over as I can get it

Man that's a HUGE bummer. I'd take a short video illustrating the placement of the BJ, and how with that placement, the cup is to one side. Then call J&S get an email address for them, and send them the video. Is there enough meat on the jack plate to move the BJ over and drill new holes so it does line up?

I sent the picture to customer service at J&S along with a voice message. I don't have enough plate to drill new holes. The 'litter' side would be off the mounting plate. With spending over $550 I don't think I should have to drill new holes but I would it it would work

Only thing I can figure out is either the mounting plate is off or the cup is off. Pretty much the same 'offset' as with the original BJ. Been reviewing all videos I can watch to see if the cup or the mounting plate is centered

Default mounting plate is welded in wrong

OK I measured the mounting plate location. Its off 1" or 1/2' adjusted One side is 5.5" from outer member the other side(the direction BJ needs to move towards) is 6.5"
the mounting plate total distance from rail to rail is 16"
left side
right side

Just looked at mine, the cup is dead center. The center of the mounting plate is offset 1/2" to the right (looking from the swivel end).

Default J & S resolved the issue

Monday they are shipping out a new lift minus the bottle jack I got this week! After they looked at the pictures they indicated it was welded wrong!
I will be returning the old lift- I kept the packing

Measure twice, weld once.
