I will be 70 end of this month, I could still ride 2 wheels solo. My wife not comfortable any more on my Dyna, and I did not want to handle a full touring bike 2 up. So, our choices were her to quit & me ride solo OR go to a trike. Trike was a no brainer for us. So, Oct 2015 we traded the Dyna for the 16 Tri and never looked back. IF I had the space and the money, I would have kept the Dyna for my own local solo rides. That said we both feel more safe on the Tri, so might not have the Dyna now, even if I had been able to keep it.

Meant to say 3 instead of 4 Fat fingers and key board I figure. From what I have been through and my balance issues have come into play. Wife said she wouldn't ride with me on two wheels if she had to, so I guess,if I do and she is behind me on her trike it doesn't matter as long as she isn't on with me. Thats nice to hear!

At 77 75% of my riding is on two wheels and the 25% of the miles are winter riding the trike. I've averaged 35K a year for the past 7 years but I am beginning to slow down.

I really don't like the looks of a Tri Glide or the stock handling. The Freewheeler is my compromise. It replaced a 2 wheel drive sidecar Ural for winter use. The Ural did a great job in snow but it was just too slow.

I have been riding since I was 17. I am now 65 and traded in my Limited Low for 2018 Tri-glide. No regrets.

In April 2012, I had two strokes. The Doctors said that I would never ride a motorcycle again because I have lost a lot of my balance. So, we bought a triglide. We have since toured all of the lower 48 states and have had a blast! Riding a trike has extended my riding time out past my 67th birthday and I couldn't have done that on two wheels.

59 years young. Still ride 2 wheels, but have also put over 100K miles on Tri-Glides in the last 6 years.

When I first got it (had to because of my foot) I was Very unhappy about it. But after less than a year I found that Trikes are their own kind of fun, and am very happy to be riding one.

Same age and same riding history. Switched from an Ultra Classic to a TriGlide and no regrets whatsoever.
