I've been riding bikes for over forty years and trikes for the last ten years. Will be 65, this year.
My only regret about trikes, is that it took me so long to switch.

MY wife has a tri ,which we take together on longer trips. I will be 57 later this year and although trikes have their pros/ cons been considering going from 2 to 3 wheels do to some health issues. Just not sure yet and I feel I will get blasted by friends at times so I have ridden 3 wheels before. Told my wife the other day that it's either go to 3 wheels or quit riding. She said you can quit but I'm not so considering trading in my 2 wheelers for a used freewheeler if a deal can be made.

Bought mine at 57. No physical need to do so. Wife was uncomfortable as a 2 wheel passenger, but said she would ride with me on 3 so I jumped on that as soon as I could. I don't really care what the 2 wheel riders think or say. Not their money, wife, or business as to what I ride.

Had major surgery in 2009. A lot of organs removed. Have major balance issues. Two wheels not doable anymore. In 2011 I bought a TG. Got another one in 2013.Got a FW in 2016. Totaled by a drunk in 2016. Got another FW. No regrets. 70 yrs old. It was either sell the bike and get a trike or vegetate on the couch. No brainer!!

First, I have always had 4 wheels, I'll take it you meant 3, second, just because I have a 3 wheeler, does not mean I don't still ride 2 wheels, in fact, sport bikes. now, I am 60 and I just bought my first Tri Glide.

Don't pigeonhole me for my choice, I did it because my wife feels safer on the open hwy on the 3 wheeler.

Couldn't have said it better myself. With my back and knees (63yo.) it was getting harder to hold up the Ultra Limited with my wife on. It really wasn't fun anymore, so I was just going to sell it and not ride anymore. My wife wasn't having any of it so she said if you sell it we're going to look at Trikes. Who am I to argue?
