Battery #
Try this HD number....66010-97D or maybe 97C.
https://www.harley-davidson.com/stor...01097c--1#tabs
Look under "See all bikes this parts fits". Of course other companies make some real good batteries that will fit also.

Thanks, so60 for the info I have been thinking of a Deka battery but needed to verify what the top of the HD battery looks like.

Deka is the way to go; they make the Harley battery. When batteries are delivered to the local dealership, they come on a Deka truck

Look at upgrading if you can afford it, I put 3 batteies in my CVO before going to an AGM, the engines turns over faster and the battery has a better life expectancy.

You shouldn’t be needing a new battery for a 2017 already.
BTW, I needed a new battery 2012 TriGlide, in a pinch. I got a Duracell at Battery’s Olus (the made in USA version). And couldn’t be happier with it.

I just installed a new Yuasa AGM YIX30L-BS in our 2011, a few weeks ago.
