Default H-D Ride Planner

getting ready for a cross country trip this summer, just bought a 2018 ANV Trike. Trying to get routes from the H-D Ride Planner to my USB drive. Every time I go to export GPX route, nothing happens. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Without knowing for sure what you process is for exporting the route, try this:
Make sure the route is saved. Then preview it. Click the drop down arrow in the box where the name of your ride is. Then click download GPX. A pop-up should appear, click Save, then Save as and name it and save it somewhere you can find it (or directly to your thumbdrive (in most cases, its (E: ))

Another thought of something to check...
Make sure you have saved the gpx file on the root folder of the USB stick. If it's in any kind of subfolder, the bike will not find it.

As I re-read your post I think you are saying you can't get the gpx file to the USB stick in the first place (sorry if I am not understanding). What I do is simply export the gpx file to a folder on my computer and then copy the gpx file, like any other file, and paste it to the root folder on the USB drive. As long as your PC recognizes the USB drive, this should work.

As Fordhd2005 says, rename the file to something that will make sense when you have it loaded on the bike and allows you to identify it again.

I simply download $10.00 to a local store that sells Road Atlas, and import the same Road Atlas to my TourPak....

Have you re-formatted the USB drive to make sure ABSOLUTELY NOTHING is on it prior to saving your .GPX file to it? If not PROBLEM!
Have you told your computer WHERE to save the .GPX FILE (route)?
Can you find the file?
If you can find the file on the USB drive then do you understand how to import it to your BoomBox?
