I know you have moved on, but the boat ride across Lake Jenny is a good time. Then you can take a 30 minute hike to see some water falls. But bring water. Keep 'em going, loving the pics. But I am very surprised how cold it was in July. We were there in August 5 years ago, no snow. Go figure.

We did not take the tram up...are you talking about the one out of Teton Village?

I'm not aware of there being more than one tram lift on the east side of the Tetons. Teton Village was not nearly as prominent in the 70's as it is now, but I'm sure that is the one I rode up to the top. Great view of Jackson Hole from there.
Keep "Ridin' Safe"

Hey, that bench with the heart on it in Dubois looks familiar! We parked just down from it three years ago on that route, stopped for lunch and a cold one at a place a little ways from there. I remember it had a lot of snake skins on the wall, among other critters. Good food.
You've got quite a bit more snow around than we had back then. Heh, at the Great Divide stop I walked a ways into the woods and found a high spot, and . . . Well, I think some of it will end up in the Gulf and some in the Pacific some day!

It's an amazing, and constantly changing, planet. Just glad that there are great roads to ride on right now!

Day 16 continued-
After hiking down to Jenny Lake...
...we looked around, enjoying the quiet and the beautiful views...
... Mary messing around on a log in the water!
Walking back to the parking lot we ran into some folks from Tennessee and Mississippi, chatted for a bit, and got our picture taken.
Back rolling now, taking it all in...or, at least trying to.
Saw a little side road, with a wooden bridge across the stream. Went across it and ended up in an RV campground.
Back rolling on the asphalt, amazing views and perfect weather!
Rolling around 50 mph, you can see Mary in the mirror, taking a photo of the mountains she sees in the mirror.
A look back over her shoulder.
We're getting close to passing thru Jackson.
More coming on Day 16 as time allows.

Kevin you pictures of your trip are incredible.
My wife and I just got home from our ride to Yellowstone from Phoenix Az. Our route took us through Zion Park, Bryce Park up to Flamimg gorge and around that part of Utah guided by Vernal and his beautiful wife from this forum, then on into Wy. and up into Jackson Wy, Moran and into the south Entrance. We stayed at W. Yellowstone Mt for 3 days and explored Yellowstone, rode out to Lemar Valley to see the Buffalo and a Black Bear. The only part of the Park that wasn't cool was the road from Mamouth Hot Springs to Norris Junction(and for anyone going to the park this summer BEWARE, they have the road TORE UP. We waited for 30 minutes in the rain to be escorted through soup mud for about 6 miles of construction. I can't wait to plan another ride up into that part of the country.
Thanks for your post it helped make our trip.
