Looking to buy some of these, Who has the best value for the money? The woman and I have half helmets.

 

We have Sena 20s units installed on our 3/4 helmets. They work flawlessly for intercom between us, which is pretty much all we use it for. Friends I ride with have been very happy with music through the 20s, but I can hear the stereo through the 4 speakers just fine and constant use drains the batteries. They have adapters for half helmets and you would, obviously, be better able to hear the stereo, etc., than we can.
There are some really good threads in this Forum on people's experiences with the Sena units and the WHIM, especially concerning what is required to integrate with your Infotainment system. You cannot get bike audio and commands (like GPS) through a Sena unless you buy the HD branded units from the dealer. Not a problem for me, but I thought I would mention it.

 

I'll second it on Sena units. They have worked flawlessly and never have had an issue with them. I use Freewire and don't need WHIM. Freewire gives me all the bike audio and commands without spending $700.00 plus for the WHIM and HD brand headsets.
