Default Adjusting a 2017 Freewheeler headlight!

I brought our BN Freewheeler home last night and was quite an unsafe ride home. I could not see anything on the road but my light sure showed treetops well. Why are these not adjusted properly from the factory just like new cars are? Looking today have no idea how to adjust it easily. The 2 bolts and nuts are hidden way up and back behind the chrome fork cover. Can see them but no way can you get a wrench on either. Called the Dealer and am taking it back. They can do it and just a point of view for those buying a new Freewheeler, check the light out before taking the Trike home.

Definitely the dealer's fault. That should be part of "dealer setup" that you get charged for. Just like putting oil and gas in, etc.

So, Dealers charge a Prep fee usually, if I paid that ridiculous fee and my headlight was searching for UFO's in the dark, I'd demand my money back.

Having the same problem (2018 FLRT) Mine is looking for snipers in the trees. I'm a new trike owner also. Takes a little getting use too. If you apply the parking brake make sure you disengage it before hitting reverse. you will pop the reverse switch. Look in manual on where it is and how to reset
I also found out its easier to get on if you use the passenger foot rest (I kept kicking my fender,LOL) RIDE SAFE,

The low beam on my 2017 FLRT is ok but the high beam is useless unless your looking in tree tops. I don’t normally ride at night but it’s something I will address.

A rider's weight changes how the headlight is aimed. Dealers usually don't take the time to have someone sit on the trike to aim it. I'd take it back and have them adjust it while I was sitting on it.
