Default Trike Wont start red key light on

Good morning - went to start my trike this morning - it would not start. Trike-Glide Ultra 2008
when I went to turn on the ignition, set to run, hear engine getting ready, trike is in neutral, clutch is pulled in, indicator lights are flashing and red key light remains on. It will not start.

I have checked the following:-
Key fob battery replaced.
Security code correct and reentered - did not override as expected

Retired a few times to make sure I am doing the correct procedure.

Any ideas please and thanks. In the Middle East HD stores are all closed for the day. Thanks

I feel it is security locked and is not turning off?

Any ideas

Pull the seat off unplug the ECM and wait a minute, plug back in and try to crank it. Good luck. Also make sure you put the key fob battery in right side up.

Wouldn't pulling the main fuse do the same thing ? I really don't know.

Wouldn't be the first time one got put in wrong. Wasn't me, but not that hard.

Might sound silly, but make sure the "Run" switch is in the correct position. Happened more than once.

To reconfirm what you said you did...
you tried entering the PIN as if your fob was not there? I’m just thinking you may have a bad fob battery even though you replaced it.
Just a thought.
