The differences between a 13 and an 18 are pretty significant, that said, if you are happy with your 13, kudos to you for saving some $$$.

Some of the differences don't appeal to me. Liquid cooled is one of them. More parts = more potential problems and more weight, plus it doesn't run cooler than mine. I test rode one and didn't feel much temperature difference over my 2013 when it was stock.

Totally agree. I traded a 2013 for 2016, didn't see much difference; a little more torque maybe. Water cooled doesn't really do much except put a potential water pump failure in the picture; had mine fail at 12500. At least it was under warranty.

Interesting to hear the comments on the water cooling. This is not apples to apples but, I spent a lot of time and money reducing the heat on my 13 RGCVO w/110 ci.
I was able to reduce the oil temp significantly (approx 215-220 from over 350), this 18 M8 107 is running 220 completely stock.

I know several folks who had water leaks on the early models but I think by 17, most of that has been cleared up, anybody have a water cooling issue in a 17-18 model, anybody checking their oil temps?

I made the mistake of commenting on a local dealers web site about a 2018 Tri Glide...…..non stop calls ! They MUST be willing to deal.
