Default Progressive monotube cartridge for a 12 Tri-Glide.

It appears that Progressive does NOT make the cartridge for the Tri-Glide
as the fork legs are longer. Has anyone found any cartridge that will
fit the 09 to 13 Tri-Glide?....tenn

So I assume that no one has found or used a cartridge type replacement
for the front forks, (for the longer Tri. legs)..........tenn

Default Help?

Things are moving kinda slow in here lately, but somebody with the answer will probably see this sooner or later. I do not know the answer to your question. However, if you call DK Custom Products and ask to talk to Kevin or Devin, I bet (guarantee) they can help you or guide you on where to get them.

I put the Progressive cartage in my 2009 tri-glide back in 2010 forget what the model number was. They sold them to me saying they would fit.. I have had them in since 2010 no problems over 50,000 miles.
Don't understand how I got them back then ordered those and new progressive air shocks at the same time.

Do some reading on DK Customs site. They have done some extensive testing on the front and rear suspension for the trikes. There are front struts for the older trikes, but they aren't cheap.
DK gives you some prices also.

Just got off phone with Jeff, he said Progressive does NOT have a
Cartridge shock for the 2012 Tri-Glide.
I then questioned him about maybe they did support the Tri in 2010
he had no input. Most likely was not even working there at that time....tenn

Like others have said talk with Dave at DK customs. I did mine in spring of 2010 at that time not sure if DK was doing anything. Progressive sold me them along with new air shocks I installed them everything worked fine no problems at all. I also have lifts on the trike I did at same time I bought then from Dennis Swain name of company tGLIDEstuff not sure if he still doing anything. If I was going to do it now I would do what ever Dave at DK Customs recommends. You only want to do it once and it isn't cheap so it is your choice. Dave has done a lot of research to help all of us.

A few years back Legend Suspension developed their Axeo front cartridge suspension so I contacted them to see if they would fit your 2012. Here is their response:

We currently do not have a fitment for the 2012 due to it being a 41mm
we currently fit the '14-'18 Trikes.

We are working on developing an Axeo front suspension for the '09-'13 Trike right now and we expect it to be released hopefully spring-ish of 2019
We have had a lot of demand for this product and are working hard on getting everything Tested and Developed so it can be released.

So perhaps in a few months they will have a product available.
