Default Right side shifters

Anyone running a right side shifter of any kind ? Either home made or store purchased ? Just wondering if there is anything new out there.

Interesting question. I have an acquaintance that has a bum left leg courtesy of Vietnam. He rides a Freewheeler, and had the Pingel shifter for a while. It never seemed to work right, and specifically...had one hell of a time getting into Neutral. He eventually had it removed, and now struggles...abkietvkess than with the Pingel...at shifts. Fortunately with the heel-toe...he doesn’t need to pull up most times.

So, a right side shifter would be interesting...but I wonder if it would be reosible because of the angles it would have to have.

There used to be a guy in Phoenix AZ. that would convert from side to side for amputees but I haven't heard anything about him in the last few years so it can be done.

I've seen this one before and even contacted them. Which was pretty hard to do. I made one like it that is on the left side and much simpler. I just reach to the left instead of the right. I thought maybe a company may have started to produce a product that was a bolt on.

Yep converted left to right bolt on between engine and tranny (jack shaft). All stainless steal rides in bearings. Uses harleys left hand foot shifter. Sorry away from home can't send pics until April. Been using one like this for over 18 years with no problems (all mechanical). Won't fit newer models when they changed the header pipe. My trike is a 2010.
