I don't start very well at 15 either.

Yep...for daily riding it's gotta be 35, preferably closer to 40 for me to ride.

Now, if we're on a road trip, unless the roads are icy, we're going.

Some bikes are a pita to reach the starter or battery with the alligator clips. I made a 10awg pigtail with a standard SAE connector so I could plug about anything into it, just needed to make an SAE to EC5 connector adapter to keep with the Li jumper battery, and now you can buy those on Amazon for 7 bucks. The 10 awg wire will handle the jumper current, just don't make it very long, mine's only about 12". And this reminds me, I haven't made one for my latest Harley or Honda, both of which would require a tool kit to reach the battery.

When I got my first rather small jumper, I tried it on my 1200 with the bike battery disconnected, and it turned it over by itself plenty fast enough to start it - but with the kill switch off, you don't want a bike's charging system putting all it has into an Li jumper, doesn't have the circuitry to handle it like the ones made as a primary battery.

Have you ever checked in with forecast of mid 30's and clear. Woke to 20 degrees and Ice. The 96, 103's seemed to start easier in cooler weather than the M8. I have found that if the M8 does not start up almost right away Stop trying. Turn it off then back on, Roll the throttle all the way open try again and be ready to roll off it. When it starts. I think they flood easy in the cooler temps?
Extra lights the sidecar all put more strain on the battery so the XP-10 is an insurance policy. Not like it takes up a lot of room.

Are there any Jump Start Packs that you can plug into the battery pig tail to start bike ? Or is that not happening ?

A standard battery tender pig tail NO..wires are too thin on battery tender pig tail and most have a low amperage fuse.
Wires would melt and possibly cause a short.
That is why a few links have been provided in this thread for a jump harness to be used with a lithium jump pack.
The weego harness linked even had an adapter tip to convert to a SAE connector but some reports say it does not play well with some battery chargers due to diode.
The diode allows voltage in one direction only so some tenders have trouble reading voltage.

Have not tried to start an M8 in that kind of cold weather.

Yep, the weather guessers have been way off a few times.

One time that really sticks out in my memory is when we woke up in a motel in Canada somewhere. Looked out the window and it was snowing!

It wasn't sticking real bad, just sort of a slush. We had reservations that evening, about 350 miles up the road. So I loaded up as it was snowing, we got moving, with the electric jackets on, making some good progress the first 30 minutes.

Then, the one and only time our electric jackets has ever quit working was that morning, in the snow!

I pulled over, onto a side road, and traced the wires all the way back to the ground on the battery. Turns out that the gerbing ground wire/ring had broken. Got that reconnected and we were on our way.

And for these you can buy a harness that bolts to the battery and the connector that plugs into the jumper can be just under the seat or tucked behind the engine. Saves trying to get down into the battery and getting a solid connection with the clips. Have one on my bike.
