Default Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum so bear with me.

I purchased a 2017 TG last fall , it had 87 miles on it and was stored for allmost 2 years. It now has 350 miles. My question is, change oils with amsoil, change with harley oil, wait till break in period is over? Any ideas? Thanks

If it were mine,I would change oil and filter using HD brand 20w50 regular oil and start break in procedure all over again. Need to get piston rings seated.JMHO

Welcome to the forum, and congrats on your new ride!

I'd definitely change all the fluids now, (and filter) since they are 2 years old....and I would probably use HD oil in the engine, Redline in the tranny and Syn3 in the primary. Then I would change the engine oil to Redline again at 1000 miles (filter too). But that just me.

Don't forget to change the brake fluid out, too, especially if it wasn't stored in a climate controlled room.

Maybe the clutch hydraulic fluid, too? I haven't really heard much about doing that, maybe others can chime in.

You also should check with a dealer or online to see if there are any recalls to be addressed.

Oh, and congrats, you'll have a blast on it, and you've come to the right place for questions, some great folks here.
