I use a velcro strap on my front brake lever. I took my parking brake off when I first got the bike because the owner before me had left it on so many times that I had to put new disk on the back. I just use a small strap and rap it around the handle bars when not using it.

The biggest problem I see with is if someone walks past and happens to squeeze the brake handle ..... off goes the brake ! When parked where people can get to the Trike they always have a habit to touch things ! Not in malice, but they like to touch.
I talked with the owner about a modification that you could lock it on and they thought they might later do something like that, but he is pre-occupied with getting things sold right now.
The other thing I see as a possible problem is if used on any type of gravel, you only have a very small patch of a tire holding that heavy weight on any type of a slope. Putting in gear would help and just use this product as a backup. I would like to see something for the rear brakes over the front only. But this will most likely be handy and work for most applications.
Not knocking a good product, but just thinking of ways to make things work better.

I always leave my trike in gear when it's parked even if you don't use the parking brake as long as it's in 1st gear shouldn't go anywhere.

120 bucks will buy a lot of Velcro. I just leave mine in gear and have a stip of Velcro handy if I park on a hill.

My wife has a 16 Freewheeler and it has a red light on the dash when it gets left on, she always sees the light, so no problem for her.

I've stopped several times and thought it would be alright just putting it in gear. Then I watched the trike slowly very surge down the hill as the engine turned backwards and the cylinders bled down. NOT good. I got out the Velcro because the parking brake cable was out of adjustment.
